New Year New Ideas

Monday, January 6th, 2020

2020 is here and so are new solutions to how the IEEE Columbus board will be having their monthly ExCom meetings. During the 2020 year all IEEE Columbus members will have the ability to join IEEE Columbus’s ExCom meetings. How will you know where to go? During the first week of every month you will receive an email from the WebEx administrator of IEEE Columbus with the meeting link, connection instructions, and the meeting date. If you loose connection information don’t worry the WebEx administrator is also the Website administrator and he will post the instructions on the website under the EX COM link which will feature a countdown to the next meeting and all information needed for the meeting. IEEE Officers will have ability to meet in person at a meeting location which is to be decided. We hope to see you all online.

Ian Oberdorf received an award for his dedication to rebuild the IEEE Columbus website after it was lost due to an unpaid bill. Power and Energy Society also received an award for largest society in IEEE Columbus. All who received the award also received a $50 giftcard to Amazon.
